Kente Afro-Jeans  A stunning advancement in jean design allows us to bring one of the first professional Kente jeans to the couture market. This is one of our signature jeans, exclusive hand made by tailors and designed to be unique-- no two jeans are the same. The Ghanaian Kente fabric is integrated throughout the jean design to bring a sophisticated look while having strong colors. With sunken Kente print embedded into the pockets, and covering the back yoke as well as trimmed on the waistband, these jeans are one of a kind, found nowhere else on planet Earth but right here, right now.

You can customize them for a clean look, or a distressed look. Kente  jeans come with optional back welt pocket. Using a heavy enzyme wash using 14.oz. denim we put absolute dedication into making these jeans. Every detail is done one by one, for each customer. These are not mass manufactured but go from process to process, artist to artist to get a unique end result. The patch on the back is real leather, laser etched one by one. Ocacia clothes celebrate the ethos of being unique.

Africanized jeans for the first time in Africa — African "traditional" jeans addition for Ocacia tops. These are beautifully hand made African jeans with all kinds of premium details throughout. Unique as they are bespoke for those who want to make a statement of taste and individuality.

  • West Africa has had a cloth weaving culture for centuries via the stripweave method, but Akan history tells of the cloth being created independent of outsider influence. Kente cloth has its origin in the Ashanti kingdom, and was adopted by people in Ivory Coast and many other West African countries. The origin of kente is in the Akan empire of Bonoman.
