Lumumba is a stunning and limited design made from Ramie linen featuring accents in African Kente. A very complex and unique design. The design comes standard with a unique Ocacia shaped pocket. Can be made with French or standard cuffs, or no cuffs at all. Please note this cut is longer than most of our shirts.
Named after the brave revolutionary Patrice Lumumba who was assassinated by colonial forces working with African agents. Malcolm X called him the greatest man to walk the African continent.

Patrice Lumumba He played a significant role in the transformation of the Congo from a colony of Belgium into an independent republic. Ideologically an African nationalist and pan-Africanist, he led the Congolese National Movement (MNC) party from 1958 until his assassination. Many streets in African and even in parts of Europe bear his name (Yugoslavia, Belgium, and other countries).

Please check with our size chart before ordering. As we cannot refund/exchange due to size error. Each display items comes with as much information so you can gauge which size is best for you. Most African clothing is worn loose. So a person who is large may choose an extra large for a more flowing fit. Some sizes take longer and our expected transit time attempts to accommodate for all possible delays.

Due to customization most clothes cannot be returned unless error is ous. Check sizes before ordering. Size adjustments after may incur an additional charge.

These are uniquely hand crafted attire. As such there will be variations from garment-to-garment. The picture is for illustation putposes only. But the good news is that every garment is unique. And you know that you are wearing something tailored for you. If you want customized cuts you can contact us and discuss modification. There maybe a standard charge for this.

We quote 21 working days, but orders usually are sent much sooner. We do not like to rush our work, and rather it be slightly late than slightly wrong. Special order items take a little longer. You can always contact us if you have any questions and get a rough idea about when we might finish. We have to work on a first come first serve bases, and if you need the item urgently please let us know and we will prioritize it for you.
