The BHM comes in a ladies and men's version, made out of a lightweight dark grey linen with a beautiful masterfully designed standard African style. But we have added premium Sheriba rope on the outside and comples rice-embroidery work on the inside. This carries over to the sleeves. And have also included a small detail on the back yoke.
Did you know BHM is suppose to reconnect the African Disapora with their heritage. Unfortunately the month has been in decline with less interest in Africa. It seems that because the month is called Black history it starts in Slavery and ends with Obama leaving office. Had it been called African History month it would have not started in slavery but in Africa, and celebrated Ancient Egypt, Islamic West African, Ancient Ethiopia, Great Zimbabwe on and on. Please check with our size chart before ordering. As we cannot refund due to size error. Each display items comes with as much information so you can gauge which size is best for you. Most African clothing is worn loose. So a person who is large may choose an extra large for a more flowing fit. Some sizes take longer and our expected transit time attempts to accommodate for all possible delays.
